This charming cottage is ideally located at the entrance to the beach. From the second floor it offers a pleasant panoramic view of the sea, over the bay of Saint-Vaast-La-Hougue and the two towers Vauban, UNESCO World Heritage Site. In a warm atmosphere, in the heart of a small quiet village, you can spend a nice vacation in bright rooms and a terrace with a large walled garden. You are here in a relaxed and invigorating environment, just a few meters from Utah Beach and its museum dedicated to the Battle of Normandy. The cottage is the ideal tourist accommodation to discover the rich, historical and gastronomic heritage of Normandy. The main attractions are the D-Day beach, the Pointe de Barfleur or the forts of La Hougue and Tatihou Island, a "little land" of the Vikings. You can also practice here all kinds of water sports like kite surfing or sailing. Golf enthusiasts have only a 5-minute drive to improve their swing. Hikers or cyclists will find many routes of different difficulty levels on site.

    “Ligging is perfect, paar meter van het strand. Huis gezellig ingericht. Echter de beloofde droger niet aanwezig zodat we elke dag de handdoeken moesten wassen om droog te krijgen bij de verwarming (april). Wasmachine is oude bovenlader die dus ook niet goed kon centrifugeren. Keukengerei voldoende aanwezig om zelf voor veel personen te koken.” “Ligging is perfect, paar meter van het strand.     “Die Lage direkt am Strand von Quineville ist absolut Top! Auch der kleine Spielplatz wenige Meter entfernt hat unsere Kinder erfreut. Ein Bäcker mit sehr freundlicher Bedienung (ich spreche kein französisch) war auch Fußläufig entfernt. Das Haus selber war sauber, etwas frisch im Herbst. Heizkosten sind allerdings recht hoch, wahrscheinlich sind sie aber eh in Frankreich hoch. Etwas schwierig hat sich die Verständigung mit dem Vermieter gezeigt da er kaum englisch und wir kein französisch sprachen. Aber mit Händen und Füßen hat auch das geklappt!”

    “Badkamer is een beetje ontoereikend voor aantal personen. Te weinig warm water in de douche, moeilijk om je haar te wassen. Slaapkamers en keuken zeer ok. Toffe tuin en terras.”

    “Das Haus liegt hinter dem geschichtsträchtigen Atlantikwall aus dem Zweiten Weltkrieg in idealer Nähe zum Meer. Der Garten ist von einer hohen Hecke umgeben, die Blick- und Windschutz bietet. Es gibt eine große Terrasse. Das Haus ist innen komfortabel und nett eingerichtet. Die zum Meer gerichteten Zimmer im Obergeschoss bieten einen herrlichen Ausblick. Die Doppelbetten haben nicht zwei sondern eine durchgehende Matratze, was für die Größe der mitzunehmenden Spannbetttücher wichtig ist.”
