Apartment building with several holiday apartments and a shared garden

If you are looking for a suitable, well-price room or accommodation for yourself or your workers, for your holiday or for a cosy, long weekend, then this is the right place for you. The house is right by the motorway exit from the A6 Schwetzingen-Nord, Ma-Rheinau. The detached six-family house with the holiday apartments is in a quiet location by a forest in the recreational area of Schwetzingen in the Hirschacker district. The owners live on the first floor and attic floor of the house.

Ground-floor apartment for four people

The holiday apartment on the ground floor measures 68m² and consists of two double rooms, a living room, a bathroom and a fully-equipped, built-in kitchen. The two bedrooms each have two single beds (100 x 200cm), two single wardrobes and bedside tables with reading lamps. The living room provides a corner sofa, an armchair a living room table, a sideboard and lighting, and a flatscreen TV. The sideboard has drinking, champagne and wine glasses. The bathroom comprises a WC, a bath with a shower curtain, a wall mirror and a washbasin. The built-in kitchen is fully-equipped with a fridge and freezer compartment, microwave, electric stove, oven, extractor fan, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, pots and pans, a crockery and tea set for six, cutlery and various cooking utensils. A vacuum cleaner, dustpan, bucket and mop, tea towels and cleaning cloths are provided. The dining table has five chairs.

Behind the detached double house there is a lovely garden with a fish pond and a waterfall. In front of the fish pond there is seating with a table and parasol. The garden also has three sun loungers and a charcoal grill. There is a smoking area in front of the house with seating and a table.

A free junior travel bed can be provided on request free of charge. All the rooms have central heating. Every guest is provided with a set of towels, changed weekly. The apartment is cleaned every 14 days and bed linen is changed, of course also between stays.

The famous asparagus town lies at the heart of the Kurpfalz. From here you can explore the beautiful landscape and places of historical interest. It is just 15km from Schwetzingen to the world-famous university town of Heidelberg. It is worth visiting the Heidelberg old town, the old historical bridge with a town gate and the castle. The famous imperial town of Speyer about 20km away with the cathedral, the historical museum and the technical museum, as well as the widely known pretzel festival is worth is visit. You can explore the nearby town of Mannheim (ca.12km) with its sights such as the baroque castle, the tower with its revolving restaurant with a lovely view of the Odenwald and Pfälzerwald, the Herzogenried and Luisenpark, the Jesuit Church, the many museums and the Mannheim emblem, the water tower. You can plan a boat trip from Heidelberg through the romantic Neckar Valley or a trip to the picturesque Odenwald. All the towns are accessible easily by public transport.

The centre of Schwetzingen is easy to get to by bus, with a bus stop right on the doorstep. It takes just 10 minutes and costs 50 cents. You can get out at the lovely castle square in Schwetzingen and are right at the heart of things. All around the castle square and its side streets there are many cafés, bars and restaurants. You can relax in a cosy atmosphere with a coffee, a glass of wine or a good meal. It is recommended to visit the famous castle garden. There is a supermarket nearby, just 1.5km away. Next to the supermarket there is a public swimming lake with waterskiing facilities. The Hollydaypark in Haßloch is 25km away. You will be spending your holiday in an ideal starting point for cultural and city visits. The house is suitable for setting out on short or extended hikes or cycle tours, or various events such as Castle in Flames, Night of Museums or the castle festivals. There are public transport connections to Mannheim and Heidelberg.
