Holiday House in Gąski with Large Garden

This picturesque thatched holiday house has a large garden (1200 qm) and is located next to the beach . All rooms were renovated in 2018 and are in cottage style. The garden offers the opportunity to relax on the large covered terrace with view in the well-kept garden. The holiday house has a parking spaces for 2 cars on the enclosed property. Notice: Maximum number of guests is 6. To get to the top of the lighthouse in Gąski, you have to take the granite spiral staircase with 190 steps. It's worth the climb because the view from the 50 metre tower is breath-taking. A fantastic panorama of the Baltic Sea spreads right in front of your eyes. You can also see Sarbinowo, Chłopy, Mielno and Unieście. The historic building is almost 140 years old. The light of the lighthouse in good weather is visible to sailors on passing ships at a distance of 36 km or 19.5 nautical miles. It is the second largest lighthouse on the Polish coast. The tower is located right in the centre of a picturesque holiday village. The first mention of Gąski dates back to the 17th century. At present there are more than 400 residents. Next to the tower stands the house of the lighthouse keeper, nearby stalls offering food and souvenirs. It's just one small step to the sandy beach with crystal clear water. Green clay deposits can be found in the vicinity. This natural raw material is used in cosmetic and treatment procedures. It's impossible to be bored in Gąski. Hikers are attracted by the 7-hectare historic park in which they can find beech trees, sawara cypresses and silver maples. The park is flanked by the mid-19th century neoclassical buildings of the Pałac Morski (‘Marine Palace’ - currently an all-year-round resort hotel). Every year in August the "Gąski" Association of Local Development organises the "Roasted Goose Feast" that is full of goose dishes. The festival is accompanied by numerous sports activities, dance parties and fun activities for the kids.     “Positiv: Also das Haus ist einfach super Klasse. Die Innenausstattung ist harmonisch eingerichtet. Auch der Garten lässt keine Wünsche offen. Nähe zum Strand ist so wie angegeben. Es gibt auch zahlreiche Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. In wenigen Kilometern gibt es zahlreiche Sehenswürdigkeiten wenn das Wetter mal nicht so schön ist. Der Vermieter war auch immer für uns als Ansprechpartner verfügbar. Also wir werden auf alle Fälle wieder kommen.”

    “Positiv: Wir Eheleute und zwei erwachsene beeinträchtigt Pflegekinder haben ein sehr schönes Ferienhaus vorgefunden. Ein Ferienhaus dass im Außen- und Innbereich uns sehr positiv überraschte. Das Interiör, die Inneneinrichtung und Gestaltung war sehr gut aufeinander abgestimmt und haben uns positiv beeindruckt. Auch der Außenbereich war sehr gepflegt und großzügig. Das Ferienobjekt ist Erholung pur. Im Innen- und Außenbereich sind Tischgemeinschaften, gemeinsame Mahlzeiten schön zu erleben. Die Nähe und der Zugang zum Strand war sehr schön für uns. Abstecher in die Nachbarorte bis hin nach Kolberg und Koszalin sind zu empfehlen. Für mich waren am schönsten lange, ausgedehnte Strandspaziergängen zum Sonnen Auf- und Untergang.”

    “Wir haben uns wirklich gut erholt. Am Ort war wiklich viel los, aber die Lage des Hauses hat alles wett gemacht. Das Haus ist mit allem was nötig ist, perfekt und liebevoll ausgestattet. Der Weg zum Strand war kurz. Positiv: Das Haus und die Lage waren perfekt! Wunderschöner, gepflegter Garten! Negativ: Gibtves wirklich nichts zu sagen!”
