There you can walk through the Pula Arena, one of the largest and best-preserved Roman amphitheaters in the world, to explore Zerostrasse, a huge network of tunnels used for communication and shelter during the world wars, which connect various Pula hills and fortresses.

There is also a small but powerful museum, the House of Istrian Olive Oil, and the Aquarium Pula, as the first sustainable aquarium in Croatia, but what you really should not miss are the Brijuni Islands, which are just a few minutes by boat from Pula. An island without cars
