    “Der Ort Neuendorf auf Hiddensee ist ein sehr ruhige Ortschaft. Es gibt den Hafen, eine Eisdiele, ein „einkaufsquelle“ der wirklich erstaunlich viel Randgruppen Lebensmittel aufweisen kann.
    Zudem kann man hervorragend, in der Nähe Pilze sammeln , direkt an den Strand, 2 liebevoll geführte Cafés und ein Restaurant gibt es auch vor Ort.
    Alles in allem, wer seine Ruhe möchte , wandern , radeln und das Meer genießen möchte, der richtige ablecken Erde.”

    “Neuendorf hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Wenn man wie wir Ruhe und Entspannung sucht - perfekt. Fahrradverleih ist direkt nebenan und sehr unkompliziert. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten ca. 100m von der Wohnung entfernt. So ein kleiner Dorfladen, wo man sich mit dem Notwendigsten versorgen kann. Aber Achtung, wer wie wir in der Nachsaison Samstag Nachmittags anreist, hat im Ort nachmittags keine Einkaufsmöglichkeit, es ist alles geschlossen (also alles mitbringen, oder Essen gehen).
    Der Weg zum Strand ist kurz und man kann bei schönem Wetter einen herrlichen Sonnenuntergang genießen. Fahrradtouren sind auf der autofreien Insel ein Traum. Ein Ausflug zum Leuchtturm und Kloster lohnt sich auf alle Fälle. Wir haben die Insel in der Woche nur einmal verlassen, um eine Kranichfahrt zu machen. Wird ab September angeboten, und ist für Tierliebhaber eine sehr interessante Sache. Man bekommt auf der Fahrt, die von Schaprode ausgeht, sehr viele fachkundige Informationen. Wenn man dann noch Glück hat bekommt man auch noch ein paar fliegende Kraniche zu sehen. Fernglas zu empfehlen. Leider hatten wir mit dem Wetter etwas Pech. Aber lieber "Kranichmann" wir sind dann ein paar Tage später auf der Heimfahrt entschädigt worden, und haben noch hunderte von Kranichen auf den Feldern ziemlich nah beobachten können. War toll!
    Wen wir auf Hiddensee Essen gegangen sind war es immer sehr gut. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hat gestimmt. Die Insel ist sehr gut geeignet, um mal herunterzukommen und das werden wir bestimmt wieder nutzen. Die erholten Urlauber :-)”
